Wendy Batiste-Johnson

Wendy Batiste-Johnson is a Retail Real Estate Executive and Consultant with over 17 years of experience, who combines flair for creating excellent customer experiences with an aptitude to monitor retail trends and exceed financial projections in fluctuating retail markets. She has held leadership roles overseeing real estate development, marketing and merchandising, brand activation campaigns, security, leasing, along with tenant, customer, and community relations.

Wendy is an astute financial executive who gauges and adjusts to market conditions and meets or exceeds income and expense forecasts. She also understands the importance of community engagement and serves on the board of directors for the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Macomb Community College Foundation & Detroit Public Theatre. She most recently has founded a non-profit organization, United Black Mothers of America, which is devoted to the wellness of Black Mothers. Wendy earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Cornell University. She has been married for 18 years and has two thriving children, ages 10 & 14.
